Colourful Outdoor settings

I'm a big fan of outdoor spaces.. maybe because I live in a country where we have sunshine most of the time .....  Anyway that aside, I also beleive that you can use any little corner with minimum effort, a bit of colour and voila - a spot to take a break!!!  Have great outdoor day!

Sitting in the Shade

This image really appeals .... a fabric canopy, a lovely 2 seater wicker chair, an upturned steel  basin used as a table, situated in a quiet shady spot of the garden - how wonderful!?

Sunday's Table

I had a post in mind, for Sunday's Table, until I came across a link to Jessica Claire's site (photographer) on Ada & Darcy (Kellie Collis' gorgeous blog)... I and saw these fantastic table settings, so I chose to post this instead .... just look at the wonderful details, the colours, the textures and how beautifully captured they are.  Although this was for a wedding, you could do something similar for a Sunday brunch, lunch or even a tea gathering!  Why not?!

have a wonderful day!!!

A spot for high tea?

Being in the southern hemisphere, we are relishing the warmer weather... this really lends itself for doing things outdoors, which in my books includes lunches, teas , barbecues, sundowners!!

On the back of some recent posts on outdoor spaces and entertaining outdoors, here is some inspiration for high tea.

You just a need a small space, bring out your garden furniture, your beautiful vintage linen and crockery, loads of flowers, friends .... and ... voila!!!! High tea anyone?!

And I hope it warms up the hearts of my northern friends ... spring will be here soon enough and you have this to look forward to!!
