I love picnics, even if they're in my own backyard. I've always wanted to have an outdoor bed, but here in Florida it is usually too humid and everything gets damp. Wish I could find pretty fabrics that would stand up to the moisture.

Wow! That is quite a bit going on outdoors. It might be a bit chilly here in New England for sleeping under the stars.

Napping outside in the shade used to be my favorite thing to do. Never had a bed quite like that though. :)

Happy New Year!

Response to Rhonda: I also love picnics and we do have them in our garden from time to time- why not?! but yes I get you regarding the humidity - there are fabrics that have an element of water/ weather proofing - might be worthhile investigating, Otherwise a tent drop sheet should help to protect your throw! Listen, have a great new year and thanks for popping by! Gena

Day beds are one of my absolute favourite things on Earth. I just love the idea of snoozing outside of in a day room.

Responses: Mandy - thanks so yr comment.
Ms Latina : yeah daybeds are really cool - we have a 'sort of day bed" on our patio - which is great, it's sheltered from the rain, and lovely to lie on and read or just relax, and it can be moved out into he garden if we wish .... happy new year!! Gena
